Georgia Middleman
GEORGIA MIDDLEMAN was raised in San Antonio, Texas, and received a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree in Acting
from New York University. After moving to Nashville to pursue songwriting, she eventually landed a staff writer position
at PolyGram Music and a recording contract with Giant Records. Her debut album "Endless Possibilities" was released
in 2001, followed by “Unchanged” in 2004 on Georgia's own independent label. In 2008, she released "Things
I Didn't Know I Knew” a self-produced collection of original songs that lean more toward Georgia's jazz and
R&B influences. As a songwriter, Georgia has had songs recorded by Faith Hill, Kenny Chesney, Reba McEntire, Martina McBride,
Sarah Buxton, Terri Clark, Maia Sharp, Radney Foster, Joe Nichols, Tracy Lawrence, and many others. She
recently saw her song “I’m In” soar to the top of the country charts, recorded by Keith Urban.
Georgia is currently on tour with her new band, Blue Sky Riders, a country/rock trio comprised of herself, Kenny Loggins
and Gary Burr. For more information, please visit: www.georgiamiddleman.com or www.blueskyridersband.com
"Brooklyn James' soundtrack to her novel The Boots
My Mother Gave Me
does more than give a
clever feminist twist to the title. Her songs serve
as
chapters themselves, underlining James' deft ability as a storyteller
and songwriter." -Margaret Moser, The Austin Chronicle
